What is hydration therapy?

Our hydration therapy utilizes a common, minimally-invasive procedure to intravenously deliver fluids, medications, vitamins, and other nutritional supplements directly into your bloodstream to provide relief for a multitude of common ailments associated with the accumulative effects of dehydration. Administered by experienced, board-certified physicians and registered nurses, our therapies are safe and highly effective.

Who it's for

Our therapies are targeted toward enhancing overall health and wellness as well as treating a number of common ailments. The cornerstone of our therapies utilizes the benefits of intravenous (IV) fluids, medications, and vitamins to treat the accumulative effects of dehydration. Please note we are very selective with regards to what specific symptoms and conditions are appropriate for treatment, and certain other health conditions you may possess could disqualify you from receiving treatment.

Health & Beauty

As a certain fictitious male-model once noted, “moisture is the essence of beauty, and water is the essence of moisture”. Seriously though, chronic dehydration is commonly known to result in dry-skin, wrinkles, skin blemishes, and accelerated aging. You can spend hundreds of dollars on topical products, or you can moisturize from the inside-out with one of our custom tailored IV hydration therapies.

Hangover

A major contributing factor to the aches and nausea associated with a hangover is dehydration and certain vitamin deficiencies. High-sugar sports drinks, coffee, and “hair-of-the-dog” may provide some relief, but do very little to treat the underlying symptoms. Our combination of expedited IV hydration, medications for pain and nausea, and vitamin additives will virtually eliminate your hangover and allow you to reclaim your day.

Cold & Flu

As conventional wisdom states, it is best to “drink plenty of fluids” when suffering from cold or flu. Our IV hydration therapy expedites the process of improving your hydration levels beyond what is capable through drinking fluids naturally. Additionally, we provide high doses of Vitamin C and other vitamins and antioxidants to combat cold & flu symptoms, which can enhance your natural immune response and allows you to recover much quicker than that can of not-so-white meat chicken noodle soup.

Athletic Performance

Sometimes sports drinks and supplements simply don’t cut it. If you are a competitive athlete, avid runner, or partake in crossfit, yoga, or martial arts, we can provide advanced relief that allows you to bounce back on the occasion your push yourself too far beyond your natural limits. Our IV hydration therapies will expeditiously restore you to natural electrolyte balances and allow you to hit the ground running again. Pre-event hydration with our new Athletic Performance IV can help avoid cramping and "hitting the wall."

Fatigue / Jetlag

Fatigue and jetlag are often caused by nutritional deficiencies, namely dehydration. Airline cabins are purposefully dehumidified, and literally “suck” the moisture out of you. Couple that factor with the poor nutrition we often provide ourselves when we travel, and breathing the same germ infected air that is recirculated in airline cabins, and it’s no wonder long-distance travel wipes us out. Our IV hydration therapies will expeditiously reverse these affects, allowing you to skip the jetlag the way you wish you could skip those long airport customs lines.

Myers' Cocktail

Myers' Cocktail is named after John Myers, M.D., a Baltimore, Maryland physician, who used intravenous vitamins as treatment for fatigue, upper respiratory infections, acute asthma attacks, chronic sinusitis, seasonal allergies, migraines, and other disorders. His actual “recipes” differ only slightly from what is given to patients today.  His successor,  Alan Gaby, M.D., developed the formulation commonly known today as the Myers’ Cocktail and named it after Dr. Myers to honor the pioneering practitioner. The following Myers’ Cocktail ingredients are given to patients by IVme Staff:

Vitamin B-complex, Vitamins B5,  B6,  B12,  Vitamin C, Magnesium,  Selenium, and Calcium
